VOLUNTEERS ARE WELCOME AND NEEDED!
Volunteers are vital to the success of a running event. The Music in Motion 5K would like to invite you to be a volunteer! Volunteers will receive a free Music in Motion 5K T-shirt, and be eligible for door prizes. Please select if you would like to volunteer for indoor action or outdoor action! You may e-mail me with your selection.

OUTDOOR ACTION!
Outdoors is where the running action is! You can be a part of the fun, too! Outdoor action duties include: *Start Line *Finish Chute *Directional Flag Crew *Water Stop *Set-Up and Clean-Up Crew *Mile Split Timers |

INDOOR ACTION!
Inside action volunteer members set the pace of the race! These people are busy before, during, and especially just after the race! Of course, you only have to volunteer for one area, but you can challenge yourself to "go the extra mile" and do more! These duties include: *Registration Tables *Results Table *Refreshment Tables *Awards Ceremony *Door Prizes *Orchestra Students' Assistants *Performance Assistants *Set-Up and Clean-Up Crew |

Pre-Race Volunteer Activities
If we built it, they will come...hopefully! Thinking positive is good, but action is great! Plenty can be done BEFORE September 30th to create an organized and fun atmosphere ON September 30th! Volunteers can be busy bees well before race day with the following activities: *Promoting the race through flyer distribution, media contacts, word of mouth, etc. *Providing baked goods for race participants such as cookies, rice crispy treats, etc. *Encouraging people to participate *Pre-registration *Packet pick-up *Volunteer recruitment |
